My toe nail is coming off and my mom says its ';just natural';!!!!!! [pics and more if you can handle!]

On March 2nd (I only remeber cause it was my mom's b-day) I was walking into the bathroom and I hit my pinky toe nail on the edge of the tile where its like sharp tile and grougt. My toe started bleeding and throbbing. My mom gave me a bandaid and said it would ';be fine';. It hurt to walk on it for like a day or two. After a while it started turning blackish and I started freaking out! My mom said it was my toes ';natural healing process';. But the nail was crumbley on the edge and turning a little blackish. Now my toenail is coming off! Its gross! I looks like dirt under my nail- but its not! I think its infected! I got scared once I realized it was coming off, so I told my mom. She (once again) said it was natural and that theres no need for a doctor. But I'm scared!

what is happening to you toe nail is a natural process however in all honesty you need to have the nail removed by a professional foot specialist not your family doc because the nail may become deformed and you will have problems forever such as constant ingrown nails.My toe nail is coming off and my mom says its ';just natural';!!!!!! no sweat!! at least five of my toenails have fallen off. on different occasions, of course, but it doesnt hurt your body. let it be. it might reattach and grown back. if it falls off, put it under you pillow and let the toenail fairy have a look at it!! (i say that because i have a five year old sister, and her toenail fell off...need i say much more?)


seriously, though, if it falls off, throw it away and ditch the sandals for a while, to give it time to grown back. you should be fine!!=)
