Do glue on nails really stunt the growth of your natural nails?

They tend to make your nails weaker (thinner). So when the time comes you don't want to be wearing artificial nails any longer, you'll have to go throw a few months of waiting for stronger/thicker nails to grow from the base up.Do glue on nails really stunt the growth of your natural nails?
no,,, but when your remove it can damage the nail if not done ppoperly. if you are getting removal done, go to a nail salon and get it done. they will soak the glue off.Do glue on nails really stunt the growth of your natural nails?
Not in my experience. I had acrylics for 2 years and had to get them refilled once a month. So if they grew so that I had to get filled in, I would think that they were still growing. Actually I think they grow more when you have acrylic or gel nails on. LOL You can read up on it if you want. Some people have bad experiences, like if the person doing their nails filed their nails down too thin, then they have ridges in their nails, so ask some friends or co workers that have their nails done frequently. Always get some feedback from people that you can count on a non-biased opinion. Even ask them which shop they go to if they have a good experience.
Hi,

Not sure but from experience from getting fake nails my nails have completely ruined and do not grow on my thumbs because they have dents now.
