Tips for strengthening natural nails after removing acrylic...?

I've worn acrylic nails for 12 years, and recently decided to try my hand in growing my own nails. While they're growing, they are still very soft and break easy. I'm looking for tips in strengthening them faster.Tips for strengthening natural nails after removing acrylic...?
Go to: http://www.hoofalive.com/ This is a product that was used on horses and cows before humans noticed that their finger nails were getting hard. Very good product and should be just what you need. You can find it at some health food stores and of course feed and grain stores.Tips for strengthening natural nails after removing acrylic...?

The best way to keep them from breaking is to polish them. Even though they are probably very short and won't look as cute polished, the polish will help strengthen the nails and protect them from damage while they grow back out.
honey, there is nothing you can do about it. your nails will just have to get hard on their own. it might take awhile, but after a few months if they don't harden up, go back to acyclic.
i just took mine off to (a month ago). my nails were so gross so i purchased ';nailtiques formula 2 plus'; from folica.com. it really helped my nails grow quicker and strengthened them so much because of all the protein in it.
