Can (natural) pointed nails be considered a weapon in school?

If they are natural, and you've never intentionally harmed anyone with them, can they make you cut them?

(When I say pointed, I mean as in knife sharp and a few inches long)

Thanks! Can (natural) pointed nails be considered a weapon in school?
Well I have found that people at school can be very stupid (teachers) and can get you in trouble for anything but they can't make you cut your nails that would be just to ridiculous. I've actualy had a teacher who used thier nails as a weapon. She would grip your scalp very tightly with her nails to get your attention. That same teacher also held a friend of mine against the wall by the neck of his shirt.

Good times. Can (natural) pointed nails be considered a weapon in school?
Your nails , as you describe them do not appear to be very nice.and could be classed as a weapon, although it might be not intentional. All nails need a trim as they grow longer, and look more ladylike when they are manicured.Pointed nails do not look very nice and more so if you are still at School. You could cause someone to have quite a scratch on their face if you lifted your hand up suddenly, and then you would be forced to get them cut.Save your money and go and get a manicure, and you will see the difference.
Well, I'm sure schools have dress codes in which they may enforce a rule about nails being a certain length. Now, nails being sharp as a knife as well as several inches long is kind of self explainatory. Seeing as how sharp long nails can injure someone, the school will probably make the person cut them. Or at least file them down so that there is no sharp point.
Nope. Its part of your own body and they cant make you cut yourself (nails) or make you destroy your own body (im not sure of the rules, but its likely)
They probably not send you home to get them clipped. Unless somebody gets hurt behind them..
