I had acrylic nails for nearly 15 years, and when I finally decided to give them up, it took over a year for my own nails to fully grow back. I now use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails exclusively. Sometimes I give myself a french manicure, which is a real pain, but it looks nice when I get through and lasts as long as a beauty shop job.





To stop using acrylics on your nails is a decision only you can make, but you are right - it ruins your natural nails. Nothing will make your natural nails as hard as acrylic, but you can, with patience, have them looking just as good.
