i just took off my first set and my nails look HORRIBLE! i figured they would look bad after but they look worse than i thought. dry, cracked %26amp; paper thin. does this happen to everyone? i will never get fake nails again. it's not worth itHave your natural nails been ruined by acrylic false nails?

i have gotten fake nails done a few times and each time they get really dry and bumpy and they bend back really easily!
If your nails have been ruined, I have one, simple question for you. Where did you get them done at? was it at a reputable high end salon, or was it at your local strip mall, non-english speaking salon where you paid like $25 or less for a full set where they used a Dremel tool to way over file your nails down to paper thin because - or so you think anyway, that they do it because they need to do it to make the acrylic stick to your natural nails? If it was the second choice, there is the reason why your nails are ruined. Simple as that...Don't go to those so called nail salons...

Thats exactly why my fiancee dosent get her nails done. She says its not worth it.
Yep. Mine just all grew out. Once they grow out about half way, they'll feel better. Just keep them very short!
