Best nail products for natural nails?

I am looking for the base coat,shades of polish in mattes and shimmers and the best topcoat that will seal and keep a shine with out doing damage to the natural nailsBest nail products for natural nails?
This is a tough one. The last manufacturer that had true mattes available was Maybelline New York, but that was several years ago; not even Express Finish Matte Maker topcoat is still in production. Shimmers, on the other hand, are heavily supported by high-end manufacturers, such as Milani, Sinful Colors, Orly, OPI--I ran across an article mentioning both Chanel and Christian Dior. For a more modest budget, Sally Hansen has several shimmers available in Fire Opal and Star Opal Nail Glazes and Nail Prisms. I understand that any dual-role base and top coat will be satisfactory under the color layers, unless an underlying condition exists that requires a specific base coat.





Several manufacturers offer at least one heavy-duty top coat; Sally Hansen has several, including Diamond Strength Diamond Shine Base and Top Coat, which I understand to enhance the shimmer, and No Chip Acrylic Top Coat for severe-service considerations.

Best nail products are actually more than just base coat and nail polishes. You need to use cuticle oil so when it grows, it grows out shiny, healty and strong. Just like the hair.. if your hair is always dry, chances are because the scalp/follicle of your hair is dry, too. I use Sally Hansen 'Strenghtening Top Coat'. I heard OPI 'Nail Envy' is better.. I don't really know about that. My favorite nail polishes would be Orly, OPI or Essie. Sometimes Sallen Hansen. So yeah.. before I put nail polish or anything else, I'd push my cuticle back alittle and one drop of vitamin-e oil on each nail will do [for me]. Let dry. Next apply a base coat. Dry... Then apply nail polish. Finally another layer of strengthening top coat.

they care for the nails but if you really want to protect your nails i would suggest you use hand cream and cuticle softener too once a week! x

The best product i've ever come across as far as taking care of your nails is Nail Tek. It works wonders. I included the link. They have a really good maintenance formula that you can use as a basecoat that keeps your nails healthy. My nails never looked better than when i used it.
