LCN products! I can't get them to stay adhered to the natural nail! What am I doing wrong????

I know too much bonder can cause lifting easily with gels but, I don't use too much bonder! My nail instructor told me the bonder should look gritty when applying it to the natural nail so I'm trying to make sure I get some on the nail but not much...and yet they still lift! Even when I use the One Component, which already has bonder in it, they still lift. Same goes for the acrylics, they just seem to lift so easily with me. I know to dehydrate the natural nail before applying and make sure no oils get on it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. LCN is one of the top products in the nail industry but at the same time I feel cheated. I spent so much money on these products and they're not working for me. I just recently became a licensed manicurist and I feel like no one wants me to do they're nails anymore because of this problem! Someone tell me what it is I'm doing wrong! Please!LCN products! I've never heard that about bonder and it looking gritty before. I think it could be one of two, maybe three things. 1) Are you applying gels or acrylics too close to the cuticle area so that it is touching the kin? If so, that in itself will cause lifting in many cases. 2) You didn't say anything about prepping the nil other than applying bonder and dehydrating the natural nails. But are you doing any real prep work prior to this? You know, using cuticle remover and a cuticle pusher to remove the excess cuticles, and then following that with the use of a currette - making sure to get into the skin folds and making sure the nails have no cuticle left on the surface? And what about removing the natural shine of the nail by gently hand filing with a 240 grit file? Of course, the nails must be scrubbed free of all dust and debris after these steps -- all of which MUST be performed prior to applying bonder and then the gels. Also, is the bonder (primer) should be completely dry prior to doing anything else to the nails. Only use very, very little. Wipe the side of the brush into the bottle of bonder to remove the excess, and then press the brush gently onto a nail wipe to remove excess once again. What bonder that remains on the brush should be enough to do about 7-8 nails if you are applying it correctly. That is the right amount of bonder to use. Any more - or less than that and you are asking for problems. But first and foremost, make sure you prep the nail as I outlined. Improper nail prep is THE #1 cause of lifting no matter if it is gels, or acrylics you are using.

I hope this helps!
